Vandana Global - AGM/Senior Manager - Operations (15-25 yrs)

- Develop and implement comprehensive electrical and automation strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the Rolling Mill and SMS operations.

- Oversee the formulation and execution of long-term and short-term plans to optimize electrical systems, improve operational efficiency, and enhance reliability.

- Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Electrical & Automation team, ensuring seamless operations and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment uptime, energy consumption, and maintenance costs, and take proactive measures to improve performance.

- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and maximize equipment lifespan.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize electrical systems and processes, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting professional development.

- Recruit, hire, and onboard talented individuals to strengthen the team's capabilities.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Project Management:

- Manage and oversee electrical and automation projects, including new installations, upgrades, and retrofits.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take corrective actions to mitigate them.

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulations, implementing robust safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.

- Promote a culture of safety awareness and accident prevention.

- Comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate effectively with peers, support functions, and external vendors to achieve shared objectives.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the electrical and automation domain, with a strong focus on the steel industry.

- Proven track record in managing large-scale electrical systems and automation projects.
