Assistant Designer Men's wear

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to develop sketches and technical drawings for men's wear garments.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, colors, fabrics, and styles relevant to men's fashion.
• Assist in selecting suitable fabrics and materials for the design concepts.
• Coordinate the development of design prototypes and ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to the selection of color palettes and prints for the men's wear line.
• Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment fit and construction.
• Create detailed technical specifications and design packs for production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and production.
• Assist in quality control checks to maintain product standards.
• Prepare design presentations for internal reviews and buyer meetings.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of men's fashion trends, garment construction, and fabrics.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
