Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Guidewire PolicyCenter QA Analyst with 5+ years of hands-on testing experience in the insurance domain. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of the Guidewire PolicyCenter application. Your expertise in testing methodologies and insurance policy administration processes will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality product to our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the functional requirements and system design of Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the functionality, accuracy, and performance of PolicyCenter.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure that the application meets business requirements and adheres to insurance industry standards.
- Perform regression testing to validate the stability and integrity of existing functionalities after system updates or enhancements.
- Conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interoperability between PolicyCenter and other related systems.
- Participate in end-to-end testing to verify the complete workflow of policy administration processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of policy data processed within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Collaborate with business users during user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in issue resolution and communication.
- Work closely with the QA team and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest Guidewire PolicyCenter features, enhancements, and industry best practices related to testing.
Must Have :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst with a focus on testing Guidewire PolicyCenter for at least 5 years.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter application and its core functionalities.
- Familiarity with insurance policy administration processes and related concepts.
- Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance would be advantageous.
