Job Description
- To analyse, design, develop and implement systems to fulfil customers business needs, utilizing all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC).
- To implement solutions for various business requirements developed according to Guidewire suite of products.
- To provide an accurate level of efforts and estimates for development tasks.
- To configure complex business rules and workflows
- To be able to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment.
What you need (knowledge, Skills & Experience)
The incumbent must
- Have an overall work experience ranging between 3-5 years, with Guidewire Integration implementation/maintenance project experience.
- Experienced in Guidewire Cloud development.
- Having Associate certification in Guidewire Integration.
- Have a strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of application development projects involving the implementation of complex business rules.
- Have previous technical experience in requirement analysis, detailed designs and implementation activities required to ensure the development, integration, and long-term maintenance of applications.
- Possess previous experience in one or more of the following areas:
- integration and development of various areas of Guidewire Transactions, Job configuration,
- Experience in integrating Intersuite and External Applications
- Experience in any of these integration mechanisms Cloud API, APP Events, REST Client, Integration Gateway, System APIs
- Implement integrations between InsuranceSuite and third-party apps using multiple APIs, messaging systems, or protocols.
- Have previous experience with using any of the following - XML, GUnit, Jenkins / GIT /TFS etc.
- Have previous experience using any of the following: GCC, Teamcity, Bitbucket
- Have previous experience in using any of the DB Servers like SQL, Oracle or DB2
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
