Key Responsibilities Application Backend Microservices Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices using Spring Boot for customer-facing banking applications. API Development: Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end frameworks (like Angular, React) and other banking systems, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange. Database Interaction: Implement and manage data access layers using JPA/Hibernate, interacting with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) for banking data storage and retrieval. Security Implementation: Integrate authentication, authorization, and encryption measures to protect sensitive banking data, ensuring compliance with industry security standards. Application Debugging and Issue Resolution: Actively participate in debugging and resolving issues or concerns raised during the application development lifecycle. Collaborate with the team to understand, analyze, and implement effective solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Java programming and the Spring Boot framework. Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate for interacting with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS (Amazon Web Services). Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data encryption for sensitive banking data. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for identifying and solving complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product teams, and other engineering teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
