Lead Product Manager - Valuedesk

Role Overview

As the Product Lead for VALUEDESK, you will shape the product strategy, roadmap, and execution while working closely with engineering, design, business, and external partners. You will focus on building an intuitive and scalable platform that simplifies investment advisory, integrates with financial databases, and enhances client engagement.

You will own the entire product lifecyclefrom concept to launchwhile ensuring seamless integration with industry platforms like CAMS, KFintech, and BSE Star MF.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the product roadmap, aligning with business goals and market needs.
• Identify and prioritise key features that enhance portfolio management, client servicing, and advisory workflows.
• Drive competitive analysis, user research, and industry trends to ensure VALUEDESK stays ahead.
• Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and success metrics for the product.

Product Development & Execution

• Work closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to create an intuitive and scalable platform.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecyclefrom ideation to release.
• Ensure seamless integration with external financial platforms (e.g., Value Research database, CAMS, KFintech, BSE Star).
• Partner with sales and customer success teams to refine the product based on user feedback.
• Lead QA and testing efforts to ensure product reliability and performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as the bridge between technology, business, and end-users.
• Work with advisors, distributors, and investment professionals to understand their pain points and translate them into product solutions.
• Manage and mentor a cross-functional team to drive product innovation.
• Communicate updates, progress, and challenges to leadership and external stakeholders.

Who You Are

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech, wealth management, or SaaS platforms.
• Deep understanding of mutual funds, wealth management, and financial advisory workflows.
• Experience building B2B SaaS products, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with financial APIs, third-party integrations, and investment platforms (CAMS, KFintech, BSE Star, etc.).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CRM, portfolio management systems, and financial analytics tools.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks in investment advisory.
• Prior experience in a startup or fast-growing SaaS environment.
