Role Description

• Deploy and manage storage systems
• Help understand customer requirements related to storage and translate that into Bill of Materials
• Take ownership of customer requirements and ensure successful deployment of storage as per customer requirements
• Liaise with OEMs for product support and services when needed / during escalations
• Interface with managers / delivery team to provide reports as necessary regarding deployment, incidents, and support requests

Technical skills

• Troubleshooting experience and Escalation Management
• Must have worked and have hands-on experience in NetApp Storage systems (NAS / SAN)
• Should have hands on experience in Cluster Mode and various replication and data protection techniques (like snapshot / snapmirror) in NetApp storage
• Knowledge on NetApp Object storage and other storage systems like DELL / HPE will be an added advantage, though not mandatory
• Hands on experience in SAN switches and zoning (Cisco & Brocade)
• NFS and CIFS shares configuration, integration with AD, troubleshooting connection issues
• Creating and managing volumes, Qtree, LUNs export policies, etc.
• Hands on experience in CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and FC (S3 / https for object will be added advantage)
• Must know performance monitoring using NetApp tools
• Must have exposure to CLI
• Experience in resolving complex technical problems
• Documentation skills
• Flowcharting and Process development knowledge
• Solution Architecting and Pre-sales
• Project Management

Min Education

Graduation in Science / BE / Equivalent IT certifications

Preferred certifications

• NetApp Certifications (Preferred)
• Other storage certifications including foundational (not mandatory, however will be added advantage)
