Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, MySQL

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient PHP code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.

- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PHP development.

- Assist in database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting complex database issues.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning and estimation.

- Ensure application security, data protection, and best practices for handling sensitive information.

- Perform basic server-side administration tasks, including file management, directory structure setup, and deployment, primarily on Linux-based servers

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.

- Proficiency in PHP (preferably PHP 7.x or 8.x), with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases (PostgreSQL, etc.), including complex queries, joins, and optimizations.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX).

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar) and server management is a plus.

- Strong understanding of web security practices (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection prevention).

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, Agile development environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
