Maintenance Manager (Plant & Machinery)

Brief Job Description: Responsible for providing electrical maintenance and improvement services to heavy fabrication industry. This position is responsible for assisting with planning and coordination of plant maintenance activities.

Qualification : B.E. (Electrical/Electronics) ONLY

Experience : 8 - 12 years
Location : Indapur ( initial 1 year ) then Halol Permanent

Joining Location would be Indapur Plant ( Maharashtra state ) , Person has to operate from Indapur plant for initial 1 Year , post completion of 1 Year , Permanent Job Location would be Halol Plant ( Gujrat State)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with company policies.
• Ensures that plant, property, & equipment are kept in excellent condition.
• Oversees the implementation of plant improvement projects.
• Daily Breakdown Maintenance Activities in shifts.
• Preventive, Corrective, Predictive Maintenance Activities.
• Planned Maintenance activities/Overhauls:
• Improvement Projects, CAPEX Execution.
• Energy & Resource Conservation.
• Spares Planning, Procurement & Budget Monitoring
• Manpower management
• Technical training of electricians on shop.
• Electrical Safety audits and comply to safety audit points related to maintenance.
• Electrical LT Distribution System Maintenance.
• Technical support to shop, MED, and other service functions.
• MIS preparation, gap analysis & CAPA to bridge the performance gaps.
• Maintenance of CNC Machines, SAW, VFDs, PLCs, Welding Inverters, CNC Plasma, Bending, EOT Cranes, etc.
• Preparation of ISO audit support documents for Quality, safety and environment management system.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as maintenance manager in heavy fabrication industry only.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Core knowledge in Electrical & Electronics to maintain Machines and SPM.
• Basic knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Experience in maintaining machines used in heavy fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of procurement & inventory management.
• Knowledge of CNC Machines, Welding Inverters, SAW Machines, CNC plasma,
• EOT Cranes, PLC, etc.
• Experience in PLC programming and automation projects.
• Good understanding of shop and machine capability, various manufacturing processes used in heavy fabrication.
• Good knowledge of critical and heavy material handling.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Electrical and electronics problem Troubleshooting.
• Documentation and accuracy.
• Faster response time.
