Assistant Manager - Sales

Area of Responsibility:

• Responsible for Projects, MRO and VCA Business in the region.
• Responsible for sales funnel management, Key Account Management and Business development in the region.
• Develop and implement actions as per strategic plans sales objectives.
• Provide sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.
• Focus on Core industries and expand customer base.
• Focus on Customer needs and Customer relationship management.
• Analyse competition activities in the region and devise effective strategies to capture market share.
• Product presentations / Demo, participation in customer events exhibitions to promote the product and service portfolio.

Essential:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical /Instrumentation) with 8 to 12 years Sales experience in Valves / Actuators / Pumps /Automation Industry preferred.
• Experience in Selling Control Valves, ON-OFF, Ball Butterfly Valves preferred.
• Market and Customer experience exposure to Oil Gas, Pulp Paper and Metal Mining industries preferred.
• Experience in handling Large EPCs OEMs in Oil Gas industries is a MUST.
• Experience in handling Channel Partners preferred.
• Proficient in handling Microsoft tools BI Reports and exposure to CRM tools.
• Should have handled Major Accounts, Corporate customers and familiar with Account Management.
• Willing to travel extensively within region and across India. Should have handled business to big / corporate customers. Able to travel at least 50% of the time.
