Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
• Auditing: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Budgeting: Develop budgets and financial plans based on research and data reports.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with laws and regulations.
• Analysis: Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and provide insights to the CFO.
• Leadership: Delegate financial responsibilities to the accounting team and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is often preferred.
• Experience: Several years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a proven track record in financial management.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent communication abilities.
