Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manager IR specializing in Industrial Relations to oversee and manage the workforce in alignment with business requirements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering a productive, compliant, and motivated workplace culture while ensuring all legal and organizational standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate workforce availability to meet business needs.
- Develop strategies to maintain optimum manpower levels.
- Monitor and enhance worker productivity and efficiency across all levels.
- Implement methods to track and improve performance metrics.
- Conduct skill assessments for workers and staff.
- Identify top performers and address low-performing employees through improvement plans or replacements.
- Organize regular training sessions for workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Focus on enhancing skills, efficiency, and motivation.
- Monitor and control overtime (OT) and eliminate process wastages.
- Optimize resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Build strong grassroots-level connections with workers and staff.
- Address and resolve grievances promptly to maintain harmony.
- Recruit and maintain high-performing individuals at all levels.
- Foster a culture of excellence to support business objectives.
- Ensure full adherence to all government policies and legal compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on labor laws and industrial regulations to avoid legal risks.
- Collaborate with production and business teams to achieve organizational targets.
- Act as a strategic partner to support business growth and objectives.
- Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in HR and IR functions, preferably in manufacturing or production industries.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and industrial regulations.
- Ability to manage conflict and foster positive workplace relationships.
