Safety Officer

We have an urgent requirement for Safety Officer at Jharsuguda, Odisha.

Company: Vaaman Engineer (I) Ltd. It is an O & M services providers to major metal manufacturing companies.

The candidate shall be placed at the client site at Jharsuguda, Odisha but would be on role of Vaaman Engineer (I) Ltd.

B. Tech (Any stream) + PDIS (Industrial safety), Odia language must preferred.

Job Description -

1. Responsible for safeguard the safety of employees.

2. Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure employees safety.

3. Responsible for conducting safety audit in the Company.

4. Specialization in developing & Reviewing HIRA & JSA

5. HSE training, Team Building and leadership skills.

6. Root Cause analysis - CAPA Verification

7. Conducting Incident/ Accident Investigation

8. To organize Safety training program for our employees and make them to understand safe work procedures.

9. To interact with all department heads about the unresolved safety problems.

10. Shall be responsible for ensuring compliances under the provisions of Factories Act, 1948

11. Responsible for all compliance related to Health under the provisions of Factories Act, 1948.

12. Well adverse in Hazardous waste management transboundary rules 2016

13. All PCB form filing Form 1, Form IV, Form V, Form 8, Form 10 (Hazardous waste Manifest)

14. Knowledge in Environment protection act 1986 Air & Water as per OSPCB & CPCB.

15. Sewage treatment plant and Effluent treatment plant Plant maintenance and operation

16. Inspect pollution equipment on a regular basis.

17. Responsible in preparing sites for Govt. officers visits.

18. Preparing safety MIS and addressing it to the client.
