Safety Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Environmental, Occupational, Health & Safety - Monitoring, corrective, preventive measures Implementation in a core manufacturing Industry.
• Foster a culture of safety through continuous engagement with employees. promoting safety awareness through training, signage etc.,
• Conduct regular safety workshops, training updates to keep employees informed of new safety standards, tools or best practices.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO, and other safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Perform regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 8 years if experience with safety as a major subject.
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations. including ISO standards, and their application.
• Strong ability to perform risk assessments, conduct audits, and identify potential hazards in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for engaging with employees & management.
• Ability to motivate and educate employees on safety practices and protocols.
