Job Description
- Cross functional coordination with style, supplier, Vehicle Architecture & Packaging, CAE, BCI, EE, Homologation to ensure the product is meeting the guidelines and standards
- Participate in technical review meetings and converge the CAS with style according to supplier feedback, packaging, ergonomics, CAE and make sure the PFF (Final CAS) data release
- Close interaction with suppliers on the DFM, Cost optimization in part design, Mold flow analysis (Injection Molded Part), Tool design review and optimization, Fixture design and development.
- Conduct design review meetings with engineering manager and make sure the design functionalities are met prior to project kick off
- Responsible for create/review 3D/2D of the B2P part
- Sound knowledge in injection molding process, tool design, tool design optimization if necessary.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide remedy. Added advantage if any tools/methodology used (Fishbone Diagram)
- Review the first level of received CAS (PFI) from style and perform DFM according to its manufacturing technology prior to SP creation and TR
- Define fixation methodology and create B & C surface using CATIA V6.
