Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager

The Senior Analyst/Assistant manager - will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, preparing financial models, and supporting the structuring of project finance transactions. This role requires in-depth knowledge of project finance principles, risk assessment, and market trends. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial viability and successful execution of infrastructure and large-scale projects.

Role & responsibilities

Financial Modeling and Analysis:

• Build, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for project financing.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and risk evaluations.
• Prepare valuation models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and NPV analyses.
• Conduct market research on trends in infrastructure and project finance sectors.
• Analyze policy, regulatory, and macroeconomic factors affecting projects.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the company's project finance strategy.

Project Evaluation and Due Diligence:

• Conduct feasibility studies and assess project viability.
• Review and analyze project documentation, contracts, and agreements (PPAs, EPCs, etc.).
• Coordinate with legal, technical, and other advisors to perform due diligence.
• Identify potential risks in project financing and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key project milestones and financial performance metrics.

Transaction Structuring:

• Support the structuring of debt and equity financing for projects.
• Assist in preparing term sheets, financing plans, and credit proposals.
• Collaborate with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government authorities, developers, and financial institutions.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports for investors, lenders, and senior management.
• Monitor compliance with project timelines, budgets, and financial covenants.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualifications:

Masters degree (MBA/ACCA/CFA Level I/CA inter pass/CMA or ICWA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Banking, Project finance, investment banking, or infrastructure financing.If CA inter pass then Articleship + 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in working with Tally
• Strong understanding of project finance structures, debt instruments, and financial ratios.
• Knowledge of industry tools and databases (e.g., Capital Line, Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.) is a plus.
