Key Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for planning & execution of various projects from Conceptual Stage to Execution.
Experience in all aspects of process engineering functions including technical Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Debottlenecking studies, Design, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning including plant operation, Reliability Improvements, Energy & Benchmarking Studies
Manage and supervise the technical team, including engineers and support staff.
Plan and coordinate the plant s production schedule and project execution.
Monitor and optimize the plant s performance, efficiency, and quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and problems.
Research and develop new technologies from lab scale to commercial & processes to improve the plant s competitiveness and efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to other departments and stakeholders.
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Capable of working effectively in teams or independently to meet and exceed business as well as customer needs.
Provide technical support to various operating Units such as alcohol, EO/EG, Ethoxylate, Glycol Ethers, Glycol Ether Acetates, Ethoxylates, Utility Systems and ongoing R&D work.
Complete understanding of relevant engineering codes, specifications, and tools necessary for performing process engineering activities
Exposure to design engineering standards from different Process Licensors (UCC, UOP, SD, DOW & SHELL).
Strong knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and systems.
Proficient in using various software tools and applications for data analysis, simulation, and design.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental excellence.
Bachelors degree or higher in chemical engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience as Head of Department managerial role
