Dispatch Head (Iron / Steel Industry)

Role & responsibilities

Share party-wise requirements with the production department.

Dispatch Planning.

coordinate sales with the plant.

Responsible For billing of finished goods to customers.

Responsible for ensuring that supplies are made to the customer as per schedule.

To make finished goods inventory records.

To make vehicle planning for dispatch of finished goods to customers.

To follow day-wise and customer-wise planning of finished goods.

To ensure customer packing should be done as per customer packing standards.

To ensure effective manpower deployment for packing.

Responsible for identifying risks, and preparing and evaluating contingency plan effectiveness periodically.

To ship the finished goods.

To stop dispatch to correct; if any quality problem is observed.

Maintain 5's & Kaizen on workplace

Overall responsible for taking care of 5S for their areas.

Identify the scope of improvement and get it done with the help of the concerned person.

During the 5S round areas in charge must be present in his area.

Timely completion/close of the observations.

Maintain Safety at the workplace

Assign the work to subordinates as required.

Staff training & development

Build and maintain a positive team-oriented culture

Responsible for tube section dispatch also

Facilitates effective performance evaluation program based upon the job requirements and behavioral indicators of performance

Responsible to help in arranging the present manpower

Responsible for preparing all relevant IATF / EHS documents.

Preferred candidate profile - Good Communication Skills/ Team Management

Must have exposure to the Steel Industry.
