Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, posting, and payments.

Ensure timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with organizational policies.

Reconciliation:

Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers with vendor statements.

Compare and align category expenses with AR provisions.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Generate and submit monthly and quarterly AP reports to management.

Expense Monitoring:

Track and validate category expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets.

Review and update prepaid working by the 25th of every month.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency.

Assist in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the AP function.

Coordination:

Liaise with vendors and internal departments to address discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Ensure that deadlines, such as category expense updates by the 27th of the month, are consistently met.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. A CA-Inter or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally or ERP systems).

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other compliance regulations.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
