Financial Controller

Job Summary: The Treasurer and Controller will direct the financial operations of the company including budgeting, planning, investing, and other financial matters.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Overseas employees responsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.

- Implements internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute financial strategies to ensure the organization's long-term financial stability and growth.

- Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management and the board of directors.

- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and budgeting.

- Streamline procure-to-pay processes, implement cost controls, and enhance procurement strategies.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax filings, audits, and financial statements.

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and safeguarding company assets.

- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor departmental budgets, providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent and highly accurate math and accounting skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

- Qualified CA or Master's degree in Accounting

- Eight years or more of related experience required.

- Candidates from manufacturing/e- commerce/supply chain/warehousing would be preferred.
