About the Role

As a Microbiologist in our R&D Lab, you will be at the forefront of microbial testing, research, and lab development. You will design testing protocols, run experiments, and develop high-impact solutions for microbial contamination in water. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role with high ownership, giving you the opportunity to define and shape the microbiology function within our organization.

What Youll Do

🔹Conduct detailed microbiological analysis of water samples, identifying bacterial, viral, and fungal contaminants.

🔹Develop and maintain microbial cultures for advanced water purification testing.

🔹Test and validate the effectiveness of filtration systems against microbial threats.

🔹Design and implement microbiological testing protocols to improve product safety and performance.

🔹Ensure sterile lab conditions, maintaining the highest standards in microbial safety.

🔹Set up best-in-class microbiological testing infrastructure, selecting equipment and optimizing workflows.

🔹Establish SOPs for microbial testing, ensuring compliance with international water safety standards.

🔹Continuously improve testing accuracy, contamination control measures, and lab efficiency.

🔹Work closely with product engineers and materials scientists to integrate microbial insights into purification system design.

🔹Stay updated with global microbiological safety standards (BIS 10500, WHO, NSF, EPA) and ensure compliance.

🔹Identify gaps in current filtration technologies and develop solutions to enhance microbial purification.

🔹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure microbiological insights directly influence product development.

🔹Document research findings, develop reports, and present key insights to senior leadership.

What Were Looking For

 ✅ Masters/Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
✅ 2-5 years of hands-on experience in microbiology labs, ideally with water quality testing or filtration research.
✅ Skilled in microbial culturing, pathogen detection, and water contamination analysis.
✅ Familiarity with water safety standards and microbiological compliance protocols.
✅ Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to research.
✅ Eager to take responsibility for lab development, with the potential to grow into a Microbiology Lead role.
✅ Ability to work closely with engineers, product developers, and R&D scientists to integrate microbiological research into product development.
