Job Description

As a Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. You will play a key role in achieving revenue targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Acquisition:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Generate leads through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored software solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies.
4. Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Revenue Growth:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience:
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the software/IT industry.
  • Experience selling software products, SaaS, or IT services is highly desirable.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of software products and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (eg, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of [IT -oriented industry preferred and other industries can also be considered for the right talent].
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
