Assistant Manager/Manager - Credit Lending

The Assistant Manager/Manager in Credit Lending will support the development and implementation of the company's credit policies, procedures, and strategies. This role involves assessing creditworthiness, managing credit risks, and ensuring that lending practices are aligned with the company's goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in credit management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to contribute to the credit function within the e-commerce sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Strategy and Risk Management: Support the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures. Assist in optimising credit processes and evaluating credit applications to manage risks.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the credit team to achieve departmental goals and maintain a collaborative work environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and assist in updating policies as needed.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on credit performance and utilize data analytics to enhance decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to streamline the credit process and improve credit assessment using digital tools.
• Credit Partners : Acquiring & onboarding new credit partners, negotiations, & finalising the terms

Qualifications:

Education:

• CA with relevant experience of 5-8 years, Chartered Accountant

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in credit management, risk assessment, or related roles, preferably within the e-commerce or financial services industry.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Reconciliation, Accounting flow and entries.
• Good understanding of credit risk management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
