Role & responsibilities

• As a Merchant Onboarding Specialist with 1 year of experience, you will be responsible for onboarding new merchants onto our platform and ensuring a seamless transition into our ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with sales and account management teams to understand merchant requirements and onboard them onto our platform.
• Collecting and verifying all necessary documentation, including contracts, agreements, and compliance forms.
• Assisting merchants with the technical setup of our platform, including API integrations, payment gateway configurations, and testing.
• Providing training sessions and ongoing support to merchants to help them maximize their use of our platform and resolve any issues they encounter.
• Ensuring that all merchant onboarding processes comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with merchants, acting as their primary point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries.
• Monitoring and tracking the performance of onboarded merchants, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2. 1 year of experience in merchant onboarding, sales, account management, or a similar role within the fintech industry.

3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

4. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

5. Knowledge of payment processing technologies and industry trends is a plus
