Job Description.
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Techno-Functional Consultant with over 8 years of experience to lead the implementation and optimization of Salesforce CPQ solutions.
This role requires a blend of strong functional knowledge of CPQ processes and deep technical expertise in Salesforce platform development.
The ideal candidate will design, configure, and deliver Salesforce CPQ functionalities that align with complex business needs, while ensuring scalability and performance.
Key Responsibilities.
Work Location : Bangalore/Chennai.
Analyze business processes around pricing, quoting, product configuration, and contracts, and provide recommendations for optimization using Salesforce CPQ.
Configure CPQ solutions, including product bundles, pricing models, discounting rules, quote templates, and approval workflows.
Develop custom CPQ solutions using Salesforce tools such as Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Process Automation tools.
Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure CPQ solutions align with their goals and improve efficiency.
Provide technical guidance on Salesforce platform architecture, ensuring best practices in security, performance, and scalability.
Integrate CPQ with external systems like ERP, billing systems, and third-party applications via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
Conduct user training, create documentation, and offer post-implementation support to ensure the successful adoption of CPQ solutions.
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and features related to CPQ, advising the business on how to leverage new enhancements.
Troubleshoot issues within the CPQ system, providing timely solutions and recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications.
8+ years of experience in Salesforce, with a minimum of 2-3 years specifically working with Salesforce CPQ.
Experience with other Salesforce products such as CPQ, Billing, and Sales Cloud.
Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification is highly preferred.
Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Developer Certifications (preferred).
Strong functional understanding of CPQ processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, discounting, and contract lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ configuration (product rules, price rules, discount schedules, and quote templates).
Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder).
Experience with Salesforce data modeling and integration of CPQ with ERP, billing, and other third-party systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.

Knowledge of middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Boomi.
