Role & responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Sales Leadership
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets for the Zone.
* Drive growth in the retail health agency channel by increasing agent recruitment and policy sales.
* Monitor regional sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
* Collaborate with senior management to align business goals with the company's overall strategy.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
* Lead, mentor, and manage Branch Managers, Cluster Managers, and Relationship Managers across the zone.
* Set clear goals, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and guidance.
* Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the sales force and agents.
3. Agent Network Expansion & Engagement:
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of insurance agents across the zone.
* Strengthen relationships with key agents and ensure they receive adequate support and incentives.
* Implement engagement programs, rewards, and recognition initiatives to improve agent productivity.
4. Market Expansion & Competitive Analysis:
* Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion within the Zone.
* Keep track of competitor strategies, market trends, and regulatory changes.
* Develop localized sales strategies to strengthen the companys presence in key markets.
5. Compliance, Reporting & Operational Excellence:
* Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal compliance standards across all branches.
* Maintain and review detailed sales reports, market insights, and operational metrics.
* Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
