Position Overview:
The Relationship Manager (RM) in the Health Agency Business is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with health insurance agents, and key stakeholders. The RM plays a critical role in driving business growth by onboarding new agents, ensuring high engagement, and achieving sales targets for health insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, recruit, and onboard new health insurance agents and partners.
Train agents on health insurance products, sales techniques, and compliance requirements.
Ensure agents have access to necessary sales tools, marketing materials, and digital platforms.
2. Business Development & Sales Growth:
Drive the achievement of sales targets through agency channel partners.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance agent productivity and retention.
Monitor and analyze agent performance and provide necessary support for business expansion.
3. Relationship Management & Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with agents and ensure regular communication.
Address concerns, queries, and operational challenges faced by agents.
Conduct periodic meetings, training sessions, and motivation programs to improve agent performance.
4. Market Research & Strategy Implementation:
Keep updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and industry regulations.
Provide insights and feedback to management for product enhancement and sales improvement.
Develop innovative engagement models to attract and retain high-performing agents.
5. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all sales activities comply with IRDAI regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of agent performance, business growth, and policy issuance.
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales progress and agent engagement.

Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in health insurance, agency management, or sales.
Prior experience in managing insurance agents or financial advisors is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Sales-driven mindset with the ability to motivate and manage agents.
Good understanding of health insurance products and market dynamics.
Proficiency in using CRM and digital sales tools.
