About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and partners, and driving revenue growth.
You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and ensuring the company's long-term success by developing new channels, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and other lead generation strategies.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and partners to drive the company's revenue growth and expansion.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers at target companies and maintain regular communication to nurture leads and opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate new business and stay updated on market trends.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to different market segments, driving client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Work closely with the sales team to create sales presentations, proposals, and contracts that meet client needs and align with company offerings.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead qualification, negotiation, closing, and post-sale support to ensure long-term client relationships.
- Monitor and track sales metrics, reporting on lead generation, pipeline progress, and closed deals.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and areas for growth.
- Provide insights into customer behavior and industry dynamics to inform product development, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
- Regularly report on market conditions, customer feedback, and potential areas of expansion or improvement.
Relationship Building & Networking:
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in target industries, including potential clients, partners, and influencers.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and partnerships that benefit both the company and the client, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Collaboration & Team Support:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop messaging, campaigns, and materials that support business development efforts.
- Provide feedback to the product team on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Assist in training and supporting junior business development or sales team members, helping them to develop their skills and contribute to team success.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Keep track of progress towards sales goals, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
