Job Description

Role & responsibilities


Business Development:

  • Market research and develop marketing strategies
  • Analyze trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and business development performance.
  • Explore/research new industry / customer segments and applications for 3D printing service bureau business.
  • Research & track competitors activities and market information.
  • Techno-commercial discussions with customer.
  • Visit and make presentations to customer for prospecting and business development. Prepare and submit weekly visit reports.
  • Lead generation & RFQ generation.
  • Sound execution of NPD process, track monthly progress from enquiry generation to order execution.

Sales Management:

  • Prepare annual sales budget for respective region.

Meet set sales and collection targets.

  • Report & co-ordinate customer complaints received for respective region. Ensure resolution of complaint to the satisfaction of customer
  • Monthly sales review with Manager (In first week of a month, before Management Review Meeting):
  • Review sales for the past month
  • Review collections for the past month
  • Review new customers acquired for the last month, analyze trend and take necessary measures, if required
  • Review customers lost in the past month, determine reasons & formulate strategy/ solution to retain customers
  • Review customer complaints received in the past month and all unresolved complaints and coordinate with concerned departments for closure to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Achievement of sales forecast, collection plan, visit report for the past month & visit plan for the next month, new customers report
  • Conduct CSS (customer satisfaction survey). Action plan and significant action to improve CSS.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate with supply chain department to arrange for shipment and delivery of the parts to the customer.

Receivables Management:

  • Monitor & follow-up for collection of due payments
  • Coordinate with accounts department for accounting of the payment received from customers
  • Maintain overall DSO between 30 to 45 days.

System Implementation:

  • Maintain system documentation as per AS9100.

Management Reporting:

  • Keep track of competitor activities and present monthly report to the management

Prepare performance reports (business development, opportunities pipeline, lost analysis, conversion, key account management etc.) and present to the management


Preferred candidate profile


  • Hard core business development background
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English and regional language)
  • Extrovert in nature and outgoing. Likes to meet and converse with people.
  • Likes extensive travelling within the city and out of station (should have own means of transportation (2-wheeler) for local travel)
  • Hard working, high on values and great attitude to learn.
  • Good presentation skills

Candidate must be local and know in and out of the region.
