Python Software Developer

Basic Qualification:

• 0-1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and data manipulation.
• A willingness to learn and upskill in ETL-focused Python tools and frameworks.
• Location: Guindy, Chennai (Office Reporting)

Technical Skills:

• Core Skills: Python, SQL
• Optional Skills: Azure Data Factory (ADF), PySpark notebooks, Spark SQL, Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks
• Exposure to Azure services, such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks, would be advantageous.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with structured and unstructured data, understanding data modeling concepts.
• Assist in the development and optimization of ETL pipelines using Python, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark.
• Debug and troubleshoot Python-based ETL scripts and data pipelines.
• Optimize ETL workflows for better performance and reliability.
• Understand the fundamentals of cloud-based and hybrid data solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to understand business needs and requirements.
• Follow best practices in coding, documentation, and version control (Git).
• Assist in ensuring data security, compliance, and governance requirements are met.
• Continuously learn and upskill in the latest ETL tools, technologies, and frameworks focused on Python.
