Plc Programmer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement automation solutions using PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, HMIs (Human-Machine Interface), servo motors, VFD drives, and other industrial automation technologies.

• Program HMI interfaces to monitor and control industrial processes.
  
• Implement SCADA systems for data acquisition and processing.
  
• Troubleshoot issues with servo drives, starters, AC/DC motors, and panel designs.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and optimize production efficiency through automation implementation.

• Troubleshoot issues related to automated processes and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime.

• Develop panel designs for electrical control panels and perform wiring harness design for complex systems.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during project execution.
• Traveling to clients' locations.
• Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs.
• Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
• Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.
• Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Troubleshooting system errors.
• Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.
• Documenting development processes.
• Providing clients with technical support.
