Job Description
- Analyze operational/commercial performance of United s schedule and make recommendations to improve efficacy/margins
- Help develop strategic plans for maximizing long term margin potential for the network
- Analyze fleet deployment to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure the short-term schedule is operable
- Help the team continuously develop and demonstrate improved analysis methodologies
- Create and develop presentations for United leadership and external stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on the United Airlines route network and fleet
- Bachelors degree
- 0-1 year
- Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working on different business problems in a data driven manner
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Statistics and Engineering preferred
- 1+ yrs
- Hands on experience in using Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Be proficient in using database querying tools and able to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or HIVE/ Spark
- Knowledge of Python is a plus
