Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple

residential construction projects, ensuring their successful execution. The General Manager will lead

a team of Project Managers, providing guidance, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all

projects meet their quality, timeline, and budget goals. This role is essential for driving operational

excellence and fostering collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Oversight: Overseeing construction 4-5 project sites simultaneously. Provide

leadership and direction to Project Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and

standards. Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, building codes, and company

standards.

• Coordination and Communication: Act as central point of co-ordination for general

contractors, workers, vendors, Consultants etc .

• Project Performance Monitoring:

Track project progress, performance, and adherence to schedules. Maintain oversight of live

projects and provide regular performance reports to senior management. Responsible for

planning and managing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget

Manage the project's schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function. Preparation and

analysis of project reports and provide actionable feedback to management. Drive continuous

improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Reconciliation Activity with

regards to cost, time, materials, human capital in the ERP module.

• Resource Planning and Deployment: Maintain optimum levels of workforce with suitable mix

of engineers, managers, Contractors and labors.

Expectations

• Must have a Diploma /Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years proven

work experience as Head of Construction Department in Construction and Land Developer set

up handling multiple projects.

• Excellent communication (writien and verbal) and interpersonal skills with experience of

producing reports and presentations for a Board of Directors.

• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Experience managing diverse teams and large-scale residential projects
• Good decision-making skills and confident in making strategic and operational decisions
• Proficiency in project management and construction software such as Strategic ERP, Powerplay
