Sr Manager Planning & Co-ordination

Job Overview: We are seeking a driven and strategic Technical Leader to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth within the water and waste water plants industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining the technical side of business development process. This role requires a proven ability to cultivate relationships with clients, identify opportunities, and lead initiatives that align with our company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Government Departments regarding upcoming projects in Waste Water Management/Sewerage plants. Functional liaising with clients and consultants.
• Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation (Mobilization to completion and handover)
• Designing water & waste water treatment plant structures in industrial environment.
• Estimating cost of equipment used in water & waste water treatment plants.
• Collaborate with project managers and the finance team to develop project budgets.
• Collaborate with government authorities to comprehend published tenders, upcoming projects and their requirements to drive business development.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market presence and enter new markets in the water & waste water treatment plants sector.
• Review and monitor the preparation, checking, submission and getting approvals from clients on Design-drawing of all components.
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers, clients, and stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively position our solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Support engineering on tender requirements so that more sustainable and cost effective solutions can be achieved.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; plus, MBA degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in business development within the drinking water, & waste water in company under exaction projects industry.
• Deep understanding of waste water treatment technologies, processes, and equipment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse project areas and understand upcoming project/infrastructure
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
• A very presentable pleasing personality with high liaison skills with government clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications related to Water & Waste treatment or business development.
• Experience working with municipal or industrial clients in the water sector.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to water management.
