Senior .Net Developer - Desktop Application

About the Opportunity:

The Senior .Net Developer will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products. This individual will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, designing business processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in product development within Healthcare Systems, E-commerce, FinTech, or HRTech.

Key Responsibilities:

WPF Development and UI/UX Design

• Lead the development and maintenance of rich user interfaces using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), ensuring an intuitive and responsive user experience.
• Implement advanced UI/UX design principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly applications.
• Implement MVVM architecture to ensure a scalable and maintainable codebase.
  

API Integration with Third-Party Systems:

• Develop and maintain API integrations with external systems such as ERP platforms, payment gateways, and other third-party services to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Ensure robust and secure API communication protocols for data exchange with various stakeholders.

Database Management:

• Design and implement robust data access layers using Entity Framework or ADO.NET.
• Collaborate with database administrators to optimize queries and ensure seamless integration with relational databases.

Advanced Reporting and Dashboard Development:

• Design and implement comprehensive management dashboards and advanced reporting systems to monitor and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), billing data, and payment statuses.
• Create dynamic, criteria-based reports that provide detailed insights into billing processes and financial metrics.

Legacy System Integration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate modern .NET applications with legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and functionality.
• Refactor and upgrade existing modules to align with current technologies.

Deployment and Maintenance

• Develop deployment packages using tools like ClickOnce, InstallShield, or WiX to create efficient and user-friendly installation processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug installation issues, ensuring seamless delivery and updates to end-users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience as a Sr. Developer - .NET, with a focus in one or more of the following sectors: Healthcare Systems, E-commerce, FinTech, or HRTech.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# and Visual Basic.NET.
• .NET Frameworks: Expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6.
• Development Tools: Experience with Visual Studio IDE.
• UI/UX Design: Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Forms (WinForms).
• Database Management: Familiarity with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Design Patterns: Understanding of architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile development practices.
• Version Control Systems: Knowledge of Git and other version control systems.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
