Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior SEO Analyst to join our marketing team. As an individual contributor, the Senior SEO Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall site visibility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the digital marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement effective, data-driven SEO strategies that drive measurable improvements in search engine rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
- Keyword Research Optimization: Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential target keywords. Optimize content, meta tags, headers, and site architecture to improve keyword targeting.
- On-Page Optimization: Conduct regular audits of website content and structure to ensure SEO best practices are followed, and provide recommendations for optimizing on-page SEO elements like titles, meta descriptions, URLs, and internal linking.
- Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, indexing, schema markup, and overall site health.
- Content Strategy Optimization: Work closely with content creators to ensure content is optimized for SEO, aligns with the target audience, and supports broader marketing goals.
- Link Building Outreach: Develop and execute a white-hat link-building strategy to improve domain authority and search engine visibility.
- SEO Analytics Reporting: Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to track and report on SEO performance, providing actionable insights to optimize ongoing campaigns.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor competitors SEO strategies and performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for differentiation.
- SEO Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in SEO, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing to ensure all strategies are current and effective.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with design, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO strategies are integrated into all aspects of the website and digital presence.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in SEO, with a strong track record of driving organic traffic growth and improving search rankings.
- Deep understanding of SEO tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and keyword research techniques.
- Experience in performing SEO audits, analyzing data, and creating actionable plans for optimization.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to make data-driven decisions and report on performance.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as it relates to SEO.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high traffic sites with complex SEO needs.
- Candidate who has handled a travel or insurance related website would be preferred
- Knowledge of international SEO strategies and experience optimizing for multiple languages or regions.
