AI Engineer

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Conversational AI engineer interested in:

• Working with top customers to deliver state-of-the-art conversational experiences.
• Interacting with sales leads and technical stakeholders in order to translate complex customer requirements into solution architectures from both customer and product perspectives.
• Solving technical challenges e.g. scalability, reliability and performance.
• Proactively communicating customer feedback and creating first-hand product feedback for engineering.
• Contributing reusable components that have an industry-wide lens, to help make Conversational AI products easier to adopt and faster to deploy to production.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation covering reference architectures, demo guides, step-by-step guides.
• Prompt engineering, model configuration tuning and evaluation.
• Creation of custom scripts for measuring model and VA performance.

Minimum qualifications

You must meet these minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Cloud expertise, preferably Cloud certified.
• 5 years of industry experience in architecting, developing or maintaining cloud solutions in public cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Firestore, BigQuery, IAM, Load Balancing.
• Development experience on both front end (web) and back end. Comfortable with both JavaScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, particularly prompt engineering and rapid prototyping of python code that consumes large language model APIs.
• Willingness to learn and an ability to provide clear, direct feedback. Committed to the team’s goals and direction.

Preferred qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

• Cloud PCA certified.
• Familiarity with multiple Cloud providers, e.g. Azure, AWS
• Great communication and collaboration skills.
