Manager-PPC (Production, Planning & Control)- Rudrapur

Role & responsibilities "

1. Plan production according to the customer requirement, ensure effective. Implementation of the plan by efficient utilization of resources IN ORDER TO ensure on-time delivery as per the sales requirement.
2. Plan the material requirement for the production and pass on the requirement to purchase material as per the plan IN ORDER TO ensure the material availability as needed for the production within the MRP (Material Requirement Planning).
3. Plan the production capacity as per the future requirements received from the sales, plan for the machine as well as the manpower requirement, identify redundant / additional resources, plan its optimum allocation IN ORDER TO fulfill the sales requirement.
4. Monitor the shop floor inventory IN ORDER TO ensure that the inventory should not go beyond the targeted level and at the same time material is available at the right time and in the right quantity to meet the production requirements.
5. Import on-job IFS training to production employees (end users) IN ORDER TO ensure multi-skilling and equip the employees with required IFS knowledge.
6. Prepare reports pertaining to monthly production plan adherence, yield trend, capacity utilization (machinery related), monitoring inventory IN ORDER TO ensure efficiency in reporting and reflect the current production plan status.
7. Perform the shop floor inventory audit; ensure material identification and tagging, physical counting, cross-check with IFS stock IN ORDER TO ensure no discrepancy in IFS and physical stock.
8. Facilitate the new product development schedule as per the guidelines received from the Sales & Marketing Dept. IN ORDER TO ensure that production is commenced as per the scheduled dates.
9. Schedule and plan budget for the expansion, construction, facilities, building, procurements, machine requirements IN ORDER TO assist in preparing a consolidated budget plan for future requirements.

Develop effective processes for shopfloor improvements in the areas of discipline, production planning, preparing reporting formats and lay-outs IN ORDER TO ensure ease in reporting and smooth operations on the shop floor
