Senior Lead - Accounts Payable

Designation: Senior Lead - Accounts Payable (Sr Lead - Acc Pay_Finance Shared Services)

Office Location: Hosur Plant (Plant)

Position description: To ensure on time & accurate payment to suppliers & other service providers as per agreed terms in compliance to applicable statutory Law.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Check periodically accurate accounting of invoices relating to purchase of materials and services (including accounting of price increase and decrease)
• Ensure provisioning towards invoices not accounted within the specified accounting period.
• Provide week wise fund requirement to Treasury for payment to suppliers and ensure availability of funds.
• Periodically review the aging of payable
• Review reconciliation of all supplier accounts, as per the agreed time schedule
• Periodically review schedule of pending advances and validity of bank guarantee backing them
• Review schedules every month to ensure accuracy and to avoid anomalies.
• Oversee supplier awareness & education and redressal of grievances.
• Review supplier master changes
• Review for timely & accurate issue of statutory forms (C form, H form, F Form, TDS certificate etc.) and maintenance of statutory form registers as required under fiscal laws.
• Confirm 100% ailment of VAT credit, information for filing of VAT return.
• Check for maintenance of records / documents as per the statutory requirements.
• Conduct PDCA for accounts payable processes, institute improvements and document the same through revision of SOPs.

Educational qualifications preferred.
