The Manager of Human Resources will provide HR leadership to Turvo s employees in India, and will report to Turvo s Director of Human Resources based in the Bay Area, California, US. This role is responsible for helping ensure a positive employee experience, for attracting and retaining top talent, developing and executing HR programs, and driving collaboration and success.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Human Resources Talent Acquisitions team based in Hyderabad, IN.
Partner with the business leaders/stakeholders to support and align organizational KPIs with HR practices. Recommend appropriate decisions or courses of action on topics such as performance management, compensation benefits, employee engagement, etc. Handle and resolve employee relations issues. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Oversee India s Talent Acquisition function and ensure we are sourcing and interviewing excellent candidates for Turvo, and successfully closing open job reqs. Build a strong employer brand and promote the ethos of the company.
Foster an environment that motivates and engages employees. Design processes for career advancement, succession planning, and retention. Partner with managers on talent management and development. Lead semi-annual performance reviews.
Ensure compensation and benefits are competitive with the market, and that the compensation strategy aligns both with company forecasts and organizational growth.
Implementation of HR policies and procedures and follow-ups for their adherence. Ensure adherence to Statutory Compliance standards, and ensure that transactional changes of HR are well executed. Oversee payroll, benefits administration, HR budgets, and other employee welfare activities.
Provide input to the development of automated business processes using technology and best practices
Participate in or manage special projects and tasks as required from time to time
Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years experience in Human Resources with a strong HRBP Generalist background
Experience in working within the technology industry is required
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred
Strong HR knowledge (both strategic and tactical) with deep understanding of local laws and regulations
Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills
Strong influencing and leadership skills with the ability to challenge decisions and facilitate change
Independent, ability to recommend solutions and solve ambiguous problems
Possess a progressive mentality with a can-do attitude to make sustainable HR changes
