Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish the data science teams workflows and implement them in collaboration with researchers
- Utilize analytical and business abilities to extract valuable insights from publicly available datasets
- Perform a thorough study of the data provided by the dataset
- Pose insightful business queries in plain language that the data can support
- Write effective, high-quality SQL code to solve problems and respond to inquiries
- Express the reasoning behind the code in a clear and understandable manner
- Debug code and write thorough documentation
- Conduct code reviews with peers and offer helpful criticism
- Effectively communicate complex subjects to team members and stakeholders
- Consistently engage with researchers to grasp their needs and share their findings
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist/Data Analyst
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL programming
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of at least five people
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong business sense combined with data analytic abilities to identify the most significant questions to ask from the dataset, provide clear answers, and explain the key findings
- Outstanding communication abilities to work with researchers and stakeholders in an efficient manner
- Nice to have some Python experience
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
