Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assume a charge of 5-15 PySpark developers
- Effectively communicate with researchers to assist the team in realizing their objective
- Execute a thorough study of the data given in the dataset
- Propose insightful business queries in plain language that the data can handle.
- Write effective, high-quality Snowpark Python code to solve problems and respond to inquiries
- Express the reasoning behind the code in a clear and understandable manner
- Establish the data science teams workflows and implement them in collaboration with researchers
- Debug code and produce thorough documentation
- Conduct code reviews with peers and offer helpful criticism
- Effectively express complex subjects to team members and stakeholders
- Clearly communicate with researchers to grasp their needs and share their findings
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist/Data Analyst
- 5+ years of experience working with Pyspark
- Demonstrable experience with Snowpark Python is desirable
- 2+ years of expertise in leading a group of at least 5 individuals
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong business sense combined with data analytic abilities to identify the most significant questions to ask from the dataset, provide clear answers, and explain the major results
- Exceptional communication abilities to work with researchers and stakeholders in an efficient manner
- Proficiency in both written and conversational English
