Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust features for small autonomous vehicles using the Robot Operating System (ROS)
- Apply expertise in C++ and Python to create and optimize the functionality of mobile robots
- Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to achieve project milestones and adhere to the product roadmap
- Utilize Git for version control and collaboration with team members in a shared codebase environment
- Perform routine testing and debugging to ensure the reliable performance of robotics applications across various platforms
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- Demonstrated experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS) and development of autonomous vehicle features
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with a focus on developing applications for robotics
- Familiarity with using Git for source code management and team collaboration
- Basic proficiency in Linux, comfortable working within a Linux-based development environment
- Proven ability to implement guidelines and follow a product roadmap with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in the development and testing of robotic systems
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary framework
- Fluent in spoken and written English communication
