Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they align with company goals, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to create synergies and ensure project success
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, while continuously seeking process improvements to increase efficiency and performance
- Evaluate current technologies and frameworks, making strategic decisions in adopting new technologies that align with project goals and company growth
- Facilitate open communication and problem-solving sessions within the team, maintaining high morale and a focus on goal achievement
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- At least 2 years of proven leadership experience in an engineering role, preferably within a fast-paced tech environment
- Strong project management skills with a record of leading teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and React Native
- Well-rounded knowledge of current web technologies
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience deploying scalable applications on these platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into simple concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of inspiring a team and driving technological innovation for continued success
- Fluent in spoken and written English
