Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the database and system environments to guarantee excellent performance, security, and availability
- Control cloud services, such as storage options, compute instances, and other infrastructure parts
- Establish and manage database systems to guarantee effective performance, data retrieval, and storage
- Implement and oversee database and system monitoring solutions to proactively detect and fix problems
- To improve operational efficiency across systems and databases and to streamline repetitive activities, make use of scripting and automation tools
- Work together with DevOps teams to incorporate database and system management responsibilities into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage and integrate a range of cloud services, including analytics tools, storage options, and compute instances
- Engage in incident response tasks, attempting to quickly fix issues pertaining to databases and systems
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a SysOps Admin
- At least 5+ years of experience in a cloud support role
- Demonstrable experience working with Cloud technologies like AWS
- Prolific experience with Cloud Security
- Some understanding of Google Cloud Platform and Azure is desirable
- Demonstrable expertise in database and system management, particularly in cloud environments
- Comprehensive experience of cloud services, encompassing computing, storage, analytics, and other pertinent services
- In-depth knowledge of databases and systems monitoring tools, as well as performance improvement expertise
- Familiarity with cloud-based security best practices for databases and systems
- Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages for database and system administration
- While ACE certification will be advantageous, SysOps Administrator/ACP certification is essential
- Substantial experience in creating and carrying out database and system backup and recovery plans
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, particularly in DevOps
- Strong documentation abilities to keep records organized and clear
- Rich history of involvement in incident response related to computers, storage, databases, analytics, and migration
- Exceptional intellectual and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
