Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications (iOS/Android) using Appium and other relevant frameworks
- Apply expertise in object-oriented programming to develop robust and scalable test automation frameworks
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable testing processes
- Design and implement automated tests for REST APIs, validating the functionality and performance of back-end services
- Leverage a tester mindset to create comprehensive test plans and scenarios, ensuring thorough coverage of software features
- Apply a solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies to drive quality assurance throughout the software development life cycle
- Utilize defect tracking tools and test case management tools to monitor and report on the testing progress and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective testing strategies and ensure the highest quality of deliverables
- Conduct performance and load testing to assess system behavior under various conditions
- Demonstrate working knowledge of at least one Cloud platform (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc)
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of relevant work experience as an SDET
- Experience with Appium/Mobile Automation frameworks (iOS/Android)
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- Development of automated testing frameworks for cloud/distributed services
- Implementation, execution, and debugging of automated test scripts
- Expertise in REST API automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Tester mindset with the ability to develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios
- Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies
- Proficient use of defect-tracking tools
- Experience with test case management tools
- Good programming knowledge of Kotlin would be a plus
- Experience in performance/load testing
- Working knowledge of at least one Cloud platform (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc)
- Fluent in spoken and written English communication
