Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Be comfortable with the technological stacks infrastructure components, with a primary focus on Kubernetes in GCP/GKE and Terraform, and a respect for straightforward yet efficient solutions
- Oversee and maximize GCP resources to guarantee the GCP sites are very reliable
- Using Terraform, create and manage reliable infrastructure as code
- To guarantee high uptime and efficient operation, implement and supervise tools for monitoring, traceability, and observability
- Clearly explain the what, how, and why of technical concepts so that colleagues can take a cue from you
- Look for and favor straightforward fixes for challenging issues
- Aim to efficiently develop reliable, clean infrastructure as code, and have fun while doing it
- Work well with cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals
- Set priorities such that the goal for perfection is balanced with the necessity for timely, practical delivery
- Maintain ongoing infrastructure improvements with the customer experience in mind
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer
- 5+ years of industry experience in managing infrastructure
- Extensive experience working with DevOps and Terraform
- Strong practical Kubernetes experience, including top-notch expertise and diligent effort
- Prior experience proactively managing GCP resources and ensuring site stability
- Strong Terraform infrastructure management experience
- Nice to have some Java, Node, and PostgreSQL knowledge
- Prior Clickhouse and/or Temporal experience is desirable
- Strong background in a consumer goods setting with strict uptime standards is ideal
- Proven aptitude for tracking, tracing, and observing data in a cloud-based setting
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Fluent in conversational and written English communication
