Senior Software Engineer

• Increase the business's impact and growth by developing the technologies necessary to provide world-positive activities
• Demonstrate a passion for developing web applications and use your abilities to support the organization's expansion and improvement so that it can have a greater effect
• Integrate the platform and database with a range of other web applications, including Teamie LMS, Discourse, and the Zoho One apps, as well as telemetry tools (such as Segment and Google Analytics)
• Write and maintain scalable, clean code, perform unit testing, and review other team members' code
• Develop the next-generation platform in cooperation with the head of engineering to support the growing business
• Develop the front-end website architecture in accordance with the endorsed concepts
• If necessary, construct back-end website apps, including unit testing, using the current technology platform
• Create databases and servers to make things work
• Make sure programs are responsive and cross-platform optimized for mobile devices
• Assist the UX and UI Lead Designer in putting the platform's and other applications' designs into practice
• Follow a project from inception to completion
• Regulate the creation and development of APIs
• Plan technical efforts to balance customer and technological needs as best as can
• Keep up with changes in programming and web application languages
• In order to conduct a more thorough analysis of user behavior and make more informed product strategy decisions, manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Work together with the team's head of product and engineering to comprehend the company's primary software ecosystem
• Together with the team, write some of the sprint's code, then work toward taking ownership of the entire epic
• Work together and cooperatively with other software engineers, the product leader, and the QA and DevOps lead
• Analyze code for the most important features already in use, and offer recommendations
• Attend design and planning meetings for the technical department
• Implement code modifications and run code reviews
• Configure performance indicators, tests, and alerts for important workflows

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Prolific experience working with React, Node.js, and HTML
• In-depth knowledge and experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Route53, RDS, ElastiCache, EC2, S3, and VPC stack
• Prior experience with workflow automation and low-code tools like Zapier and Zoho (including CRM, Flow, Forms, Sign, Campaigns, Desk/Support, and Survey)
• Demonstrable experience with Data Management and analysis as well as Data integration tools like Skyvia
• In-depth knowledge of the fundamental concepts in computer science
• Ability to assist SCRUM processes and serve as an effective peer coach
• Working knowledge of Node.js (HAPI), PostgreSQL, and Redis caching, as well as prior expertise with website coding frameworks and API integration
• Experience using the GIT Source Code repository, the Bootstrap and JQuery front-end engines (as well as the Jade/Pug server-side templating engine and SCSS/Gulp for CSS packaging), and other relevant technologies
• Extensive experience in integrated online apps/services, contentful and bespoke programming, and content management systems (CMS)
• Prolific experience with a learning management system, such as Teamie
• Comprehensive familiarity with forums like Discourse
• Strong email and notification skills using Mandrill, Zoho Campaigns, and Twilio
• Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics, SQL Warehouse, and segment telemetry services
• Prolific knowledge of planning and supporting technology like Google Apps/Suite/Drive, Slack, and Jira
• Some understanding of Git, AWS, and REST/RESTful APIs is nice to have
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable
• Nice to have prior experience with DevOps and CICD pipelines
• Solid working knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Docker and containers is nice to have
• Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
