Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Execution of Underground Tunnels using Cut & Cover Method
- Tunneling through Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) and construction of interconnected cross passages.
- Coordination with Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Crew on a day-to-day basis for mining of Tunnel, Muck Disposal.
- Coordination with Precast Yard Team for production of Concrete Segments of required design and shape, safe transportation of same and stacking at site.
- Monitoring segments fixing, grouting and shotcreting.
- Controlling the alignment and profile of the Tunnel.
- Leading the supervision team to ensure quality and safety of construction in accordance with approved designs and laid down specifications.
- Reviewing work progress by sub-contractors and planning measures to achieve milestones.
- Updating Tunnel Manager on the work progress and achievement of milestones.
Preferred candidate profile
Educational Essential: BE/B-Tech- Civil / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Educational Desirable: ME/M-Tech- Civil
Minimum 2 years of work Experience in Underground TBM tunneling is mandatory
