Role Description.
This is a full-time on-site role for an In-House Advocate at TUF Group in New Delhi.
The In-House Advocate will be responsible for below points:-.
Case Management: Management and tracking of the Groups cases both in India and abroad.
Updating in the excel based case tracker which shall act as MIS.
Stakeholder Management: Maintaining effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Effectively communicating with external counsels/ advocates on all aspects including but not limited to the fee related matters etc Court Visits: Acting as Authorized Representative of the company and Visiting the court on all hearings (physically or virtually) and providing the updates with respect to the same.
Contract Management: Efficiently draft, review/ vet, and manage contracts and agreements.
Case Preparation: Preparing case summaries and collating the case related documents, e-mail communications etc to be provided to external counsels/ advocates.
Legal Research: Conducting legal research related to various policy matters which impact or are likely to impact the Group.
Legal Representations and liaising: Drafting legal representations and liaising with various government departments, industry associations etc to seek a resolution/ remedy.
Travelling: The job may entail occasional outstation travelling to manage/ handle legal matters.
Required Skills: A LL.
B (3 Year/ 5 Year) Graduate with 3-5 years of proven experience as a legal in-house with some knowledge of court procedures and litigation.
Good drafting skills and English communication is a pre-requisite for the role.
Preference: Candidates staying within 10 KMS shall be preferred.
Remuneration: As per industry standards and based on salary proofs provided.
